Accuride Drawer Slides - Always Moving Forward
Storage is important inside a van so the Accuride 3832 HDTR is a very popular drawer slide. Touch Release means it won’t open as you are driving and having no drawer handles is useful in a confined space. Accuride Linear Motion Drawer Slides are handy for the moveable parts of seats, storage covers and TV lifts.
Some designers are using heavy duty slides like the Accuride 9301E and 9308E4 to create facilities like slide out kitchens. The lock-in and lock-out feature means they are safe in transit and stable when you use them.
Controlling the motion
In a van, lots of things need to lift up and down. To make sure this is a controlled movement use gas struts. Vari-Lift Gas Springs are often used for Gas Bottle Lockers and fold down beds.
To create a door or roof that lifts you can use a combination of gas struts. An Econoloc Gas Spring has a spring-loaded locking shroud that clicks into place when the spring is fully extended. The Econoloc is released by applying pressure to the right place on the shroud. Combine it with a Standard Vari-Lift Gas Strut and your roof will stay securely in place.
Space and Light
Some customers use our Low Profile Panel Mounting System for thin panels and facings like soft or honeycomb cored panels.
Our 12v LED IP65 Tape is a flexible and adaptable lighting solution. It’s water resistant so you can use it inside or outside the van and it’s very easy to install. LED lights consume much less power and you don’t need spare bulbs.
