Vigorous Testing
Previously the 0116RC has been used in sliding door applications at Alder Hey hospital as an alternative to automatic doors. Since then, Accuride has put this slide through vigorous testing methods and even tested it to move a mobile gantry crane along the track weighing a mighty 1200kg. In comparison to the castor wheels that had previously supported the crane, it turned out to be a lot safer and sturdier method, resulting in a much smoother and more controlled movement.

In addition to its impressive load rating, the 0116RC Linear Motion Track is available in 2 lengths – 2.4 metres and 3.6 metres which the customer can cut to the required length and drill mounting holes to suit their application. This modular system is highly adaptable with additional parts available to customise your own application.
