Celebrating Jacqui Davis' Amazing Journey at JET PRESS

After an incredible 39 years, it's time for us to say a very fond farewell to Jacqui Davis as she heads into a well-deserved retirement.

Having joined the company in 1986, Jacqui has been part of an amazing journey of growth, change and innovation. As she prepares to step into her next chapter, Jacqui has shared some of her memories with us.

"When I joined the company in 1986, JET PRESS was just a small team of around twelve people. In those days, there were no dedicated Quality or Export departments. Everything was much simpler and slower! Most correspondence was done by telephone or good old-fashioned post.

In the early days, I worked in Customer Service before moving into the Export department, where I saw the business grow and evolve. Over the years, I've witnessed huge changes, not just within JET PRESS, but across the wider world of work too. The invention of mobile phones, laptops and computers transformed daily tasks and made working life so much easier. I still recall the days of going down to the warehouse with delivery notes, carefully putting them in date order and filing them away once the orders had gone out – all by hand, of course!"

Jacqui has built many happy memories and great friendships throughout her time with us. Her positive attitude, dedication and warmth have made her a valued and much-loved member of the JET PRESS family.

As Jacqui steps into retirement, she’s looking forward to spending more time doing the things she loves: going away in the caravan, enjoying long countryside walks, tending to her garden, and of course, making treasured memories with her grandchildren.

Jacqui, you leave behind a lasting legacy at JET PRESS. We are so grateful for everything you’ve contributed over the years, and while we’ll miss you, we’re excited for you to enjoy this new chapter surrounded by the people and places you love most.
