Martin Critchley, Automotive Lead at Jet Press, said “It was a great opportunity to meet the Range Rover people and understand their problems. We met Engineers from Design, Operations and Production who are all working on new concepts.”

Bentley and Lotus yet to come

In April JET PRESS are set to meet Designers and Engineers from Bentley and Lotus at similar in-house events. This will be another opportunity to talk about the role of Engineered Fasteners and Industrial Hardware in automotive design.

For instance, Structural Engineers at Range Rover are looking at ways to use Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) and JET PRESS offer a new range of fixings for use with EPP. There is no doubt that other car makers are looking at things like lightweighting, cable management for Electric Vehicles and Autonomous Vehicles and issues around recycling.

The forums are organised by Motiv8 Forums who describe the events they run as smart and effective sales and marketing opportunities.

Of course you don’t need to be in one of these forums to discuss your challenges. To talk to one of our experts please call +44 1623 551 800, email or use our online enquiry form.
