JET PRESS is here to provide support for our manufacturing partners in the critical supply chain to the NHS and other vital services. Currently we are involved with advising on projects to supply emergency ventilators, face masks and hospital beds.

We are very aware that many of our customers are shifting their focus to produce much needed items to help combat Covid 19.  JET PRESS would like to provide all the support we can to assist in the fight against Covid 19. We have implemented the following measures to help our customers.

Update: 19th April 2020

JET PRESS is currently helping a number of companies that are involved in the manufacturing of face masks and face shields for use in medical environments. We are currently assisting organisations in the UK, USA and Europe and are working on fastening solutions for a number of PPE applications.

Plastic Rivets are particularly useful in these types of projects and we are currently providing samples of Self-Piercing Snap Rivets, Mini Rivets and Ratchet Rivets for use on prototype products.

In these difficult times, our need to respond quickly to customer demands has never been tested more thoroughly. This has seen members of the JET PRESS team working all hours keep up with the intense schedule of these projects. As a team we are all keen to do our bit in helping to protect our front-line heroes in this time of crisis.

– We have zero confirmed cases of coronavirus within the JET PRESS team.

Update: 14th April 2020

Welcome back everybody from the Easter break. JET PRESS is open today. Our office team are working remotely and are available to respond to your enquiries.

– We currently have zero confirmed cases of COVID-19.
– As ever, we are observing government guidance on hygiene and social distancing to safeguard the welfare of our warehouse team.

Update: 9th April 2020

– We have zero confirmed cases of coronavirus within the JET PRESS team.
– Our warehouse team is observing social distancing guidance, staying 2 metres (6ft) apart from colleagues whilst working.
– Our office staff continue to work remotely.
– We are continuing to get your orders out to you!

Please note: We will be closed on Good Friday (10th April) and Easter Monday (13th). You can, of course, still reach us by email and will will respond as soon as we get back. JET PRESS will reopen for business on Tuesday 14th April.

Update: 8th April 2020

– JET PRESS is open. As a team, we are staying safe by following government and health official guidelines. Our office staff are working remotely. Our warehouse team are working to social distancing and increased cleanliness measures.

– Shipments of goods and samples are leaving from our warehouse today.

Our technical manager, Martin Belcher, is currently working from home. When he is not advising our sales team, he has been helping 3DCrowd UK. This volunteer group has started making thousands of plastic face shields. These are being distributed to hospitals, GP practices and social care organisations, helping to protect frontline staff.

Volunteers with access to a 3D printer can sign up to help online via the 3DCrowd UK website.

We are preparing more shipments to leave our warehouse within the next 24 hours.

– We are carefully adhering to all government guidance on hygiene and social distancing to safeguard the welfare of our warehouse team. Our office staff are working from home.

Update: 6th April 2020

– As we begin a new week, JET PRESS remains open to deal with enquiries and orders from customers. Our office team is operating safely from home and is available during normal working hours. We are also following all government guidance on hygiene and social distancing to protect the welfare of our warehouse team.

Help Our Hospital Heroes

Over the weekend, the JET PRESS team has been raising money for local NHS Hospitals by supporting the Help Our Hospital Heroes campaign.

Olly Guest made a very generous cash contribution to the cause, on behalf of JET PRESS. Over 20 of our company employees have also pledged donations.

The fund-raiser was launched by a local football club with all proceeds being passed on to local hospital charities. Donating was something that many of our team wanted to do, as we all have true admiration for the dedicated work that hospital staff are carrying out at this unprecedented time.

– This morning we will be shipping more urgent goods and samples to customers from our warehouse.

Martin Critchley, our senior sales manager for the UK, is currently advising one of our customers on a fastener which will be used on medical face masks. This is a priority enquiry for us and we are working as quickly as possible to provide the customer with the best solution for his application.

When Martin is not as his desk working on this essential work, his loyal assistant, Mozart, seems to want to take over and help!

Update: 1st April 2020

We are in early this morning, shipping out a large number of orders to our customers from around the world. We are also sending out samples to some of our partners that are involved in producing important medical equipment that will be used in the fight against COVID-19.

Thanks to Paul and Craig for getting these orders out of the door today.

During these difficult days we must continue to keep our focus on happier times in the future. With this in mind, we welcome David Rickers to the team. Today is his first day working for JET PRESS. When we first recruited him, none of us could have imagined that his introduction to JET PRESS would be like this!

David will be looking after our German customers when we get back to normal. In the meantime he is at home until such time that it is safe for him to begin his company induction. Welcome to Jet Press, David!

– We currently have zero cases of COVID-19 within the JET PRESS team. We are following government guidance on social distancing to protect the welfare of our staff.

– Our warehouse is still able to dispatch orders. We also have a small team of staff, working remotely, to manage all of our customer requirements at this difficult time.

Update: 27th March 2020

JET PRESS considers the safety of its staff as a number one priority. Some of the measures that we have put in place to protect our employees include:

– Our office team has been removed to remote working
– We have limited the number of warehouse staff and reduced their working hours
– We have implemented a range of social distancing measures across our sites
– We have increased the levels of sanitising equipment in all of our buildings
– Key touchpoints, such as handles and rails, are being stringently cleaned, regularly
– We have brought in measures to reduce manual handling
– Visitor entry to the building has been restricted and controlled
– Our vulnerable team members are self-isolating, in line with government guidelines
– We continue to monitor official Government advice daily
