In 1994 Brian was made redundant after working 33 years as a lorry driver. He drove milk tankers collecting milk from the farms and delivering it to the dairies.
Then in 1995, at the age of 57 and after 11 months of being unemployed, JET PRESS offered Brian a part-time packaging operative position.
“JET PRESS is a nice and friendly company to work for” says Brian. “During the course of my employment the company has changed in many ways from more office space to extending the warehouse and on the people front many people have come and gone but the one consistent thing that remains is the friendly family feel of the business which is down to the people who I work with”
25 years at JET PRESS and now at the age of 83, Brian has racked up 68 years of working life and he still enjoys coming to work every day, he hopes his good health continues so that he can carry on working for JET PRESS for many more years.
Brian is one of many employees at JET PRESS that have contributed to our outstanding long service record; this is a testament to the company’s core values – People, Longevity and Community.
